I am looking for an experienced Android security RASP / native hooking specialist to help set up a stable runtime analysis environment using Frida for a user-level Android application.
The main goal of this project is to monitor and understand application behavior during runtime in a controlled and stable way without affecting app performance.
Scope of Work:
Set up a stable Frida environment for Android application runtime analysis
Attach to a specified Android application using package name (to be provided later)
Monitor selected runtime methods as required during testing
Ensure hooks run reliably during normal user interaction
Maintain stability of the application during active analysis sessions
Help understand how application functions behave during execution
Provide guidance for adapting hooks if application updates occur
Deliverables:
Production-ready Frida script (JavaScript / TypeScript)
Clean,
Step-by-step setup guide for Android (Frida server / Frida gadget based setup if needed)
Documentation explaining each hook and its purpose
Troubleshooting guide (common issues like attachment failure, device detection, process spawn issues)
Acceptance Criteria:
Hooks should attach successfully to Android 11–16 user-level applications
Script should run stably for extended runtime interaction (5+ minutes) without crashes
Logs should remain consistent and readable during active app usage
Setup process should be reproducible on a fresh environment following documentation
