Malware Audit & Uptime Shield
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
My custom-built website keeps crashing without warning and I suspect malicious code is creeping in. I already have some basic precautions in place—simple firewalls and routine backups—but they clearly aren’t enough.
Here is what I need from you:
• Deep-dive code review of the entire site and server to identify hidden malware, backdoors, or injected scripts.
• Complete removal of every infection you find, followed by a clean-build verification.
• Deployment of a real-time monitoring stack—server log watcher, intrusion-detection, and uptime tracker—so we can see exactly when and how any future breach attempts occur.
• Forensic tracing of current attack vectors: isolate the IPs or methods used, block them at server and application level (iptables, fail2ban, ModSecurity, etc.), and document the evidence trail.
• A concise report that explains what you discovered, the steps you took to fix the issues, and clear recommendations for ongoing hardening.
Please work directly on the live server over SSH (or suggest a safer workflow if you prefer). I’ll provide full access and expect transparent progress updates so I can follow along. Once the site is stable and fully patched, I’d like a brief hand-over call to walk through the new monitoring dashboard and any maintenance scripts you install.
