I need a developer, or small team, to build a cross-platform mobile forensics application that lets even first-time users collect and review evidence from Android and iOS devices without altering the source data. The core workflow is simple: connect the phone, select the items to acquire, watch a live integrity log, then open or export a clear PDF/CSV report.
What the software must do
• Acquire messages and media files from Android and iOS handsets in a strictly read-only manner, hashing every file on ingestion so chain-of-custody can be proved later.
• Store all collected data inside an encrypted container and require authentication before any session can be reopened.
• Present the results through an intuitive dashboard designed for beginners—think guided wizards, plain-language labels, and context help instead of manual command lines.
• Allow one-click export to PDF or CSV with embedded hash values and basic metadata.
Architecture notes
I am open to the language and framework you prefer as long as it runs on the major desktop operating systems; if adding Windows support is straightforward, that is a welcome bonus. Security is non-negotiable: data in transit and at rest must be encrypted, and no temporary files may remain on the host system when the session is closed.
