Corporate Website Encryption Coaching
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I maintain a corporate-level website and need practical, hands-on coaching to tighten its security, with a clear focus on data encryption. Rather than simply handing the job over, I want to understand the rationale behind each protection layer so I can maintain and extend it confidently in the future.
Here is what I’m after:
• A short audit of my current server, database, and front-end setup so we know what we’re starting with.
• Step-by-step guidance to implement strong encryption for data in transit (TLS configuration, HSTS, secure ciphers) and at rest (database field-level or full-disk, depending on findings).
• Clear explanations of best practices—key rotation, certificate management, secrets storage, OWASP-aligned coding patterns—so I learn the “why,” not only the “how.”
• A concise cheat-sheet or mini-playbook I can reference later.
Live screen-share sessions work best for me; we can record them for replay. Please be comfortable demonstrating with commonly used stacks (PHP / Node / Python) and typical corporate hosting environments (cPanel, VPS, or cloud instances). Experience with tools like OpenSSL, Let’s Encrypt, HashiCorp Vault, or similar will be a plus.
Acceptance criteria: after our sessions I can deploy, test, and verify encryption across my site without outside help, and I’ll have your documented checklist to fall back on.
If you’re patient, communicative, and able to translate security theory into everyday practice, let’s schedule our first call.
