Home Security Camera Study (Boston)
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We're running a one day camera-testing study in the Boston area and need a household willing to let us install three temporary devices:
- one outdoor security cam
- one indoor cam
- a video doorbell.
The equipment will go up in the morning, remain in place through sunset so I can capture daylight and LED-infrared footage, then be removed before the team leaves that same evening.
More details on the study:
- Each short scenario: 30 seconds in average (range in 15s - 50s)
- Each long scenario: 1 hour
- Participants will be selected based on various age groups, genders, ethnicity, home location, skin tones, etc., we ask you to self-report this information.
- Lighting Conditions: 20% of the scenarios need to be recorded at night with the infrared LED mode enabled on the cameras.
