We are conducting a cross-country study concerning relationships between businesses and online platforms that businesses use to sell their goods and services.
We would like to have an interview with an experienced user of online marketplaces or search engines who is based in the EU. If you have knowledge on using Amazon, Etsy, Google Play, Booking.com or other marketplaces to sell goods or services, you would be the right candidate. If you have experience with using Google Ads or other search engines (Bing, etc.) to advertise goods or services, we would also be interested in speaking to you.
We carry out the study on behalf of the European Commission. During the interview we would discuss multiple topics such as: what were the changes introduced by platforms in the last two years, do you know what determines the ranking of your products or services, has the experience of settling disputes with platforms changed in any way during the last two years, do you have sufficient information when the platform may decide to restrict, suspend or terminate your user’s account?
