Indoor Bust Sculpture Commission

I’m looking for a sculptor who can craft a full-bust likeness that will ultimately sit on display inside my home. I have clear reference photos ready and would like the final piece to read as realistic and expressive, not simply stylized.

Scope
• Collaborate with me on the overall pose and expression (a quick concept sketch or clay maquette to lock it in).
• Recommend the most suitable medium—clay, stone, or metal—bearing in mind indoor placement and my budget.
• Sculpt the bust at roughly life-size (minor scale adjustments are fine if they help with shipping or structural integrity).
• Share progress photos or short video clips so I can approve key milestones.
• Deliver the finished sculpture sealed, primed, and ready for indoor display—securely packed for transit.

What I’ll provide
• High-resolution front, side, and three-quarter reference images.
• Prompt feedback at each review point.
• Coverage of agreed shipping costs.

Ideal experience
You’ve completed at least one commissioned portrait or bust, can work cleanly in your chosen medium, and understand how to protect a piece for shipping.

Timeline
