Zabbix MSP Setup and Implementation Engineer

Requirement: Zabbix MSP Implementation Engineer (Contractual)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and independent Zabbix Engineer who can design, deploy, and manage a complete Zabbix-based MSP (Managed Service Provider) monitoring environment. The resource should be capable of handling end-to-end implementation without supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and optimize Zabbix Server, Proxy, and Agent architecture
Design and implement multi-tenant (MSP) monitoring setup
Configure monitoring for:

Servers (Linux/Windows)
Network devices (SNMP-based)
Applications and databases

Develop and customize:

Templates, triggers, discovery rules, dashboards, and reports

Set up high availability (HA) and performance tuning for large-scale environments
Integrate Zabbix with:

Email/SMS/Alerting systems
ITSM or ticketing tools

Implement security best practices (encryption, access control)
Perform capacity planning and scalability design
Provide complete documentation and knowledge transfer

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven hands-on experience with Zabbix (v5.x / v6.x preferred)
Strong knowledge of Linux systems and networking protocols (SNMP, TCP/IP)
Experience in MSP / multi-customer monitoring environments
Scripting knowledge (Shell, Python) is an advantage
Ability to work independently and deliver within timelines

Engagement Model:

Initial contract duration: 3 to 6 months
Possible extension: Additional 3 months based on project requirements
Post-implementation (steady-state phase):

Requirement for fixed monthly support hours from the same engineer/consultant for ongoing maintenance, optimization, and support
