Script to Auto-Close Chrome after obs finish run video
Budget: €100 – €150 EUR
I stream pre-recorded videos through OBS on a Windows machine. The moment the media source reaches its final frame I want Google Chrome—opened beforehand for monitoring chat and analytics—to shut down automatically.
I’m happy to trigger this through an OBS Lua or Python script, or a lightweight plugin, as long as it can:
• Detect the exact “media_source_ended” state (or an equivalent event) inside OBS
• Immediately issue the correct command to close every running Chrome window without affecting OBS itself
Please provide a small install guide and a couple of test instructions so I can confirm that, once the video finishes, Chrome consistently terminates while OBS continues to run.
