Keyboard Word Entry Utility

I need a small, self-contained solution that lets me type words on the keyboard and captures everything exactly as entered. A lightweight script, snippet, or micro-app is fine as long as it takes raw keyboard input and stores it in a plain-text buffer or file without adding extra characters.

Please keep the setup minimal—no heavy frameworks. A short README explaining how to run or integrate the code is part of the deliverable. Cross-platform (Windows, macOS, Linux) support would be a plus, but I’m open to a single-OS prototype if it speeds things up.
