Intune Desktop App Deployment

I have a Windows-based VPN client application that needs to be upgraded across our fleet. The existing version must be fully removed first, then the new release pushed through Microsoft Intune with reliable detection logic so devices don’t retain leftovers or end up with duplicates.
Here is what I need from you:
I have already created LOB for new version and that works. However before this runs, I will need the existing version to be deleted as well. I also have uninstall script but issue I got is, I need uninstall script to run first and confirm its all gone then only LOB app will push.

Testing will be done on a small pilot ring first; once the uninstall-then-install workflow completes without errors we’ll roll out to production.
If you have solid experience with Intune, Win32 app packaging, and PowerShell scripting for application lifecycle management, this should be a quick engagement.
