Currency Data to Google Sheets

I need a small, reliable script that pulls numerical figures from a portal website that uses a login and password and drops them into my Google Sheet every day. The values must arrive already formatted as currency so I can scan the numbers without doing any manual tweaks.

You’re free to build this with Google Apps Script, Python plus the Google Sheets API, or any other lightweight approach you know will run smoothly on a timed, once-per-day trigger. The solution has to work even when the spreadsheet is closed, avoid duplicate rows, and leave my header row untouched.
