Automated Webpage Monitoring Tool Development

We need a developer to build a lightweight automation tool that continuously monitors a public web page and performs a basic sequence of actions when a specific button appears.

Your tool should:

Open a web page (we will provide the URL after shortlisting)

Continuously check for a specific button (identified by classes or text)

Click it once available

Handle cases where the resulting page is invalid or shows a session error (a fallback URL pattern is used)

If an error occurs, the script should return to the start and retry

Once successful entry is confirmed (based on a URL pattern), the script should idle and let the user manually continue

Other Expectations:

Script must be fast, stable, and support retries

Should print or log attempts and results clearly

No scraping or bypassing protected content

No payment gateway interaction or form-filling is involved

Headless operation preferred, but visual toggle is a bonus

Preferred Tech:
Python with Playwright (preferred)

Ability to run on Windows or basic server

Ideal Developer:
Experience in web automation, ticket monitoring, or form interaction

Knows how to avoid rate-limiting and retry safely

Has delivered stable, production-grade browser automation
