YouTube Scripted Sketch Production
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m building an entertainment-driven YouTube channel aimed at young adults and I need someone who can take each episode from idea to upload. Every video will be a scripted sketch, so I’m looking for a creator who feels just as comfortable brainstorming punchy concepts as they do directing on set, cutting in Adobe Premiere Pro (or your editor of choice), sweetening audio, adding light VFX in After Effects, and delivering a polished final file that keeps viewers coming back.
Here’s what a typical assignment looks like:
• Develop a short, funny concept that fits the channel’s tone and audience
• Write a tight script and shot list ready for production
• Film (or remotely direct talent) in 1080p or higher with clean audio and well-lit scenes
• Edit, add motion graphics or captions, colour-grade, and mix audio for consistent quality
• Supply the final video plus a compelling thumbnail and metadata suggestions
Acceptance criteria: the episode must be export-ready for YouTube, run the agreed length, maintain crisp visuals and clear sound, and hit the comedic beats promised in the script.
