YouTube Disaster Documentary Production Team
Budget: $15 – $45 USD
I’m launching a brand-new YouTube channel that tells compelling, 20-minute Documentary stories about geophysical and weather disasters—think volcanic eruptions, mega-storms, tsunamis and the science behind them. To build a consistent, high-quality workflow from day one, I want three creative partners who can collaborate smoothly:
• A Script Writer who can transform my research notes and source links into gripping, fact-checked narrative scripts that keep viewers engaged start to finish.
• A Video Editor who can weave licensed footage, maps, data visualizations and dramatic sound design together in a pace that fits the 20-minute format, using Adobe Premiere Pro or a comparable NLE.
• A Thumbnail Designer who understands click-through psychology and can produce eye-catching, on-brand artwork that teases each disaster story without veering into misinformation.
Our typical episode cadence will be three videos per week once the template is refined. I’ll supply raw materials e.g;
1. Raw script
2. Written details of research inline with the topic of the specific video
3. A detailed style of how you would work on the visuals/scripting.
While you bring creative flair and technical polish. Clear communication in English, respect for deadlines and an openness to collaborative feedback are essential.
If you have proven experience in Educational documentaries, especially around science or extreme weather, please share a sample that best reflects your role (full edit, script excerpt or thumbnail portfolio).
Let me know your preferred workflow tools and, for editors, any motion graphics or After Effects skills you can contribute.
I’m eager to establish a long-term partnership, starting with a paid pilot episode so we can fine-tune style together. Looking forward to seeing how you’d bring this channel to life.
