(RPW) Scriptwriters for a Canadian Youtube channel with over 400k subscribers -- 2

I’m expanding my team with up to ten skilled writers who can craft compelling, well-researched scripts for my internet-documentary YouTube channel. Each assignment is a full narrative piece—2,000 – 5,000 words—designed to hook viewers from the cold open through to the final call-to-action. You’ll turn around one script a week to start (three at most if you have the bandwidth), and I pay between $0.010 and $0.020 per word based on the quality of your sample.

Because the channel’s focus is documentary storytelling, I need writers who genuinely enjoy digging into facts, timelines, and human angles rather than producing surface-level entertainment pieces. You’ll work directly with me and, as the channel grows, with one of my managers so we can fine-tune tone, pacing, and structure together until your voice matches our house style perfectly. If we click, I also run additional channels and will happily funnel more work your way.

Deliverables I’ll review each week:
• One complete script in Google Docs, within the agreed word count
• Citations or links to every major source used
• A short paragraph pitching thumbnail and title ideas

Acceptance criteria:
• Storyline is chronological, easy to follow, and free of factual errors
• Language is conversational, avoiding academic jargon while respecting the viewer’s intelligence
• Visual cues or on-screen text prompts are clearly marked so the editing team can move fast
