Inspirational Rural Cartoon Script
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,000 INR
I’m developing an animated short aimed at Indian adults and need a seasoned scriptwriter to craft an engaging, message-driven story. The core value is clear: show that genuine respect and tolerance can bridge even the deepest divides. I picture this lesson unfolding against a vibrant yet traditional rural backdrop—think bustling village fairs, banyan-shaded chaupals, and fields that echo with local dialects and folklore.
While the setting feels nostalgic, the storyline must feel fresh, uplifting, and ultimately inspirational rather than preachy. Characters should be relatable adults who face a conflict where prejudice or misunderstanding threatens community harmony; their journey toward empathy should land with emotional weight and a touch of wit.
I’m looking for:
• A 15-18 minute screenplay (roughly 10–12 pages) formatted for animation, including dialogue, scene headings, and action descriptions.
• A brief one-paragraph synopsis and two-line logline that capture the hook.
• Character bios and a concise scene-by-scene outline so the animation team can visualise pacing.
Scripts should be written in English but weave in natural Hindi phrases where it adds authenticity. If you have previous experience scripting Indian-context animation or moral tales, please share a sample. Once we agree on the premise, I’ll expect the first draft within a week and one revision round to fine-tune tone and cultural nuances.
