I’m putting together a video that walks viewers through a film (or series of films) in a thorough, scene-by-scene fashion. The titles I have in mind sit outside the usual action, drama or science-fiction labels, so you’ll need to be comfortable tackling less conventional genres and finding the narrative threads that make them stand out.
What I’m after is a detailed analysis rather than a quick recap or jokes. Think: thematic breakdowns, symbolism, production context, and how key moments support the overall message. If a clever comparison with another film helps illustrate a point, feel free to include it, but only when it genuinely deepens the viewer’s understanding—I’m flexible on that front.
Deliverables
• Scripted voice-over (approx. 8–10 min) with citations for any references
• Edited 1080p video that matches the narration, using licensed clips, stills or motion graphics
• Soft-subtitles file (SRT or VTT) for accessibility
• Source project files so future edits are possible
Acceptance criteria: the final cut must clearly explain the film’s plot, themes and key production choices, flow smoothly for at least eight minutes, and be free of copyright strikes on YouTube.
Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or comparable editors are all fine—use whatever you’re fastest with as long as the output is polished and ready to publish.
