• Start by giving the text a full editorial pass—clean up grammar and spelling, smooth the story flow, and punch up every line of dialogue so each character sounds distinct and age-appropriate.
• While you’re polishing, layer in situational comedy. Think clever set-ups and pay-offs that can play out visually from panel to panel without drifting into slapstick or wordplay overload.
• Reshape the manuscript into a clear script format ready for an illustrator: page breaks, panel descriptions, dialogue balloons, and any sound-effect cues.

I will provide the current draft in Word; you return two files: one showing tracked changes and another clean, production-ready script.
