The story revolves around a Jewish teacher and the highs and lows that occur in his first year of teaching in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Paul Steinnberg is new to Pioneer High School. Over the time of his first year, he impacts students in a positive way while juggling his personal life or lack there-of, He befriends John Damicci, the music teacher at the school and is fixed up on a blind date with Carol Segal and they just naturally click. At the end of a successful first year, he must choose between staying at PHS or moving to Tallahassee for a promotion. The movie is filled with teen angst, great accomplishments, love and touching and emotional connections!

About the Author
Bruce P. Weinberg has spent over 35 years teaching and directing theater, including two decades as an Adjunct Professor at Broward College. A lifelong lover of Performing Arts, he has inspired countless students, many who have gone on to
television, Broadway touring companies, and prestigious acting schools like AMDA, NYU and Carnegie Mellon. After his retirement, he concentrated on writing. He has three published children’s books and his first play. This is his first screenplay!
