About The Contest-
We are looking for an original Bengali short film concept that can be developed into a
powerful animated short film.
This is not just a writing contest.

The selected writer's work may be adapted into an animated film and released on major online
platforms. This is an opportunity to have your storytelling reach a large audience and become
part of a real production.

What You Need To Submit
Your submission should include:
1. Story
● Original idea only
● Emotional, psychological, slice-of-life, dark humor, or meaningful themes are welcome
● No plagiarism
● No AI-generated stories

2. Screenplay
● Proper scene structure
● Scene descriptions
● Character actions

3. Dialogues
● Natural Bengali conversations and try to write the story in bengali language but in english script else. For example : "Bangla te jerom kotha boli amra" style writing. [Benglish or bengali english you can say]
● Should feel like real people talking

4. Character Brief
● Main character description
● Personality and motivation

5. Ending Explanation
● Explain the meaning or emotional impact of the ending

● Duration: Approximately 10–20 minutes
● Length: 1–3 pages minimum (can be longer if needed)
● Bengali setting preferred
● Limited locations preferred
● Limited characters preferred
● Production-friendly concepts preferred

Rights & Ownership
By submitting an entry, participants confirm that the work is entirely original.
The selected winner agrees to transfer adaptation and production rights of the submitted work
upon receiving the contest prize. The story may be modified, animated, distributed, and
published by the project team across digital platforms.
Full credit to the writer may be provided where applicable.
