Biomechanics FEA Manuscript Drafting

Job ID: 39893982

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I have completed a finite-element study that simulates the mechanical behaviour of a dental-implant system under static masticatory loading, and I now need a polished manuscript ready for submission to the Journal of Biomechanics. The core analysis is finished; what I’m looking for is expert scientific writing that presents the work clearly to an audience of academics and researchers.

Scope
• Develop the Methodology, Results, and Discussion/Interpretation sections from my raw data, model notes, and preliminary figures.
• Ensure wording, structure, citation style, and reference formatting all follow Journal of Biomechanics guidelines.
• Create publication-quality graphs and charts that highlight stress distribution, peak von Mises values, and comparative regions of interest—cleanly integrated into the text.
• Refine the abstract and craft a concise conclusions paragraph so the narrative flows logically from hypothesis to findings.

Key considerations
• Emphasise finite element terminology, boundary conditions, mesh convergence, and material properties without overwhelming readers who specialise in dental biomechanics.
• Maintain a professional, evidence-driven tone suited to peer-review.
• I will supply the FEA output files, screenshots, and numeric datasets; you turn them into clear plots (line, bar, or scatter as appropriate) with labelled axes and units.
• Where relevant, cross-reference existing literature to position the study within current implant-design research.

Deliverables
1. Complete manuscript in Word (editable) and PDF.
2. Separate high-resolution image files for each figure (TIFF or EPS, ≥300 dpi).
3. A brief cover-letter draft for journal submission.

If you’re experienced in biomechanics writing and comfortable translating FEA results into compelling, publication-ready prose and visuals, I’d love to collaborate and get this paper across the finish line.
