Ground investigation -- 2
Budget: £10 – £20 GBP
I am looking gain interest into conducting a ground investigation on a small site in Mount Pleasant, West Horsley, Surrey, Uk. The purpose of the ground investigation is to conduct a geotechnical analysis, and the contractor will need to use ground penetrating radar in order to do so.
Successful completion of this project will provide a thorough understanding of the subsurface soil characteristics and rock formations.
I am a mere ground floor council tenant of a bedsit flat of Guildford borough council.
The council do not have funds for even basic upkeep of the property let alone a ground survey. I do not have any funds either. This is a request of curiously for geological interest. There was / is a old spring in the garden with willows. It is situated on a mount / chalk and clay. The end of a line from past volcanic activity from which it opens out to a lower level plain (East Horsley) direction. I found amethyst crystal chunks just below the surface in the garden. Upon first exposure to light after being broken these glow bright blue in the daylight and change to a whitish with purple hint. I am autistic and my hearing after testing has been altered by warbling of the ground crystal contents. Not however believed by most people. This warbling is intensifying in times of wetter weather systems approaching and winter months, a higher amount warbling frequency. My hearing is exceptionally sensitive because of autistic traits. Not considered by most. Scientific theory would personally conclude that there is possibly a karsk ground and aquifer system of intermittency. Would anyone be interested in further investigation. Unfortunately I am not in a position to pay for it, but hope there is enough curiosity and interest to maybe probe. A local geologist perhaps.
