KiCad Schematic Review & PCB Layout
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have an existing KiCad schematic for a two–sided STM32-based flight controller (roughly 120 components) that needs a professional once-over before we head to fabrication. The immediate tasks are:
• Integrate a 128MB NOR Flash device into the current schematic, then update the symbol, footprint, and related decoupling as required.
• Review and correct the whole schematic for electrical best-practices around power routing, oscillator placement, ESD, and any MCU peripheral pin conflicts you spot.
• Lay out the PCB on either six or eight layers—whichever yields better impedance control and clean return paths—keeping the overall board two-sided for assembly efficiency.
- the pcb will have JST connectors as well as solder pads (around 40 pads total)
• Deliver a complete, manufacturer-ready package: Gerbers, drill files, pick-and-place data, PDF assembly drawings, and a clean Dual BOM with supplier part numbers For China and NA sourcing.
All work must stay native to KiCad (current stable release). Please build in sensible design rules for a standard 4-mil, 1-oz stack-up so the files drop straight into JLCPCB or PCBWay without rework.
