Custom Gutenberg blocks with ACF Pro for existing WordPress theme

Job ID: 40553068

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m updating an existing custom-built WordPress theme and need three reusable Gutenberg blocks created with ACF Pro:

• Hero / banner
• Cards grid
• Call-to-action

Each block must expose ACF field groups in the block editor so I can freely change copy and swap images without touching code. I want the front-end output to be clean, semantic HTML styled with BEM-classed Sass/CSS (no inline styles, assets enqueued the WordPress way). Please follow WP coding standards throughout; no page-builder shortcuts such as Elementor or WPBakery.

You’ll be working directly inside my current theme, so familiarity with tailoring code to an established structure is essential. I haven’t prepared design files—only loose ideas—so I’ll rely on your eye for layout and your suggestions on typography, spacing and colour to make the blocks feel cohesive with the rest of the site.

Technical expectations
– Register each block via ACF’s acf_register_block_type / block.json method.
– Code can load via a PHP render callback or the render_template pattern; let me know which you prefer and why.
– Keep PHP well commented and logically organised.

When you reply, please include:
1. A link or screenshot showing an ACF Gutenberg block you’ve built.
2. Your preferred render approach.
3. A realistic delivery timeline for the three blocks.

I’m looking forward to seeing how you can bring flexible, designer-friendly blocks to my site.
