Vehicle Tracking SAP Integration
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
My in-house platform already tracks our fleet in real time; now I need that vehicle data to flow seamlessly into SAP. The integration must push three specific data sets into SAP as they are generated:
• Vehicle location updates
• Maintenance records (service dates, parts, mileage)
• Fuel usage reports
The tracker can expose REST/JSON and MQTT, and we can enable SOAP or OData if you prefer. On the SAP side I am open to whichever path—PI/PO, CPI, RFCs or a lightweight ABAP service—best delivers a reliable, well-documented solution.
Deliverables
1. Design document defining data mapping, security and error handling
2. Complete integration code/config, deployed in our test system
3. Walk-through proving the three data streams reach SAP correctly
4. Clear deployment guide with commented source
Acceptance criteria
– Each data type arrives in SAP within 30 seconds of creation
– Robust logging with email alerts on failure
– All custom objects follow SAP Z-namespace and naming standards
I will provide API keys, sample payloads and VPN access to the DEV landscape. Share your preferred toolset, timeline and past SAP integration work so we can move ahead quickly.
