SAP WebDynpro ESS Enhancement
Budget: ₹100 – ₹400 INR
I need to extend our Portal-based ESS application (SAP NetWeaver 7.50, WebDynpro ABAP).
Task 1 – new “Time Events” tab
Under Personal Information a fresh tab must appear, styled exactly like the existing ones. It will show employees’ clock-in / clock-out times and allow real interaction: users can edit values, hit buttons to save or refresh, and follow links that open related time-management pages. The solution must respect our current PFCG role checks so only the intended groups see the tab.
Task 2 – dropdown with value help
In an existing view I want a standard F4-enabled dropdown. I’ll supply the text table or search help; your job is to bind it, handle context updates, and return the chosen key to the backend logic.
Deliverables
• Enhanced WebDynpro component transported to DEV, containing the “Time Events” tab and functioning value-help dropdown.
• Well-commented ABAP code that matches our naming conventions.
• Brief technical document describing role checks, context nodes, and UI additions, plus transport numbers.
• Short online walkthrough to verify everything inside the Portal.
If you’ve previously worked on ESS, time-management objects, or PFCG role integration, that will speed things up. I’ll provide component names and system access once we lock the timeline.
