This Medical Devices client is embarking on a multi-year SAP implementation and is looking for the following candidate.
Job Description
• High level responsibilities include defining project scope, schedule, create/update functional design specs, configure and develop solutions.
• Support performance testing of Vistex using different data variants and analyze and resolve defects/issues.
• SAP Vistex Consultant will oversee and support project across multiple business functions specializing in SAP Order to Cash, including Billbacks and rebate agreements, claims and settlements.
• Ability to transform business needs into technical solutions. Provide guidance to departmental and divisional business /technical management on IT strategies and initiatives.
• Have detailed experience of Implementation of SAP add-on technologies (solution extensions) for Vistex
• Analyze and document ongoing internal customer requests for additional features, functionality, integrations, etc
• Leading design and detailed design activities for specific applications, including configuring SAP/third party applications.
• Knowledge of government participation and regulation of bids, pricing, rebates and other government programs, both in United States as well as internationally (Canada and Europe, in particular)
• Work with functional areas (Sales, Purchasing, Finance, HR) to elicit and document requirements.
• Troubleshooting of SAP Vistex and related third party solutions.
• Lead business discussions, document client business processes, support and influence the design of future business processes.
• Organizing, implementing, and reviewing appropriate testing & quality assurance activities.
• Responsibility for primary support (Subject Matter Expert) for the end users in their areas of expertise; providing support and training on current applications.
• Interacting with the non-information technology business/technical areas to help prioritize and select enhancements to SAP Vistex.
• Participating as an active team member, providing value-added input that others can learn from. Effective listening and collaboration skills.
• Test OTC Sales Order, Purchase order, Incentives business processes in Vistex application as well Understanding upstream/downstream process impacts (Master data, sales, finance, etc.)
• Prepare test data for various data objects Vistex.
• Creating and uploading master data into Vistex.
Qualifications
• BS in Computer Science or Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of progressive Vistex experience is must and SAP SD experience is required, with a minimum of 1 full lifecycle implementation – ideally within a medical device / pharmaceutical company.
• Extensive experience in configuring order management, pricing, availability checking, partner determination, output determination, copy control and contracts. Familiar with BAPIs, IDOCs and integration to PI.
• Solid understanding of Order to Cash (OTC) and Procure-To-Pay (PTP) processes, SD/MM pricing configuration/routines, and FICO integration.
• Deep knowledge of ABAP programming is preferred.
• Extensive Experience in SAP SD configuration; SAP to/from Vistex Configuration, knowledge of ABAP preferred including familiarity with EDI/IDOCs, and integration with PI; recent, relevant, hands-on experience is a must.
• Knowledge of programming and design techniques, including structured and object-oriented programming.
• Working knowledge in S/4 and Fiori would be good.
• Able to work on US Mountain Time.
• Role will be for an initial 2-3 month contract duration and depending on performance will be extended to a rolling multi-year contract
