SAP Support & Maintenance Consultant
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I need an experienced SAP professional to take over day-to-day support and preventive maintenance of our current landscape. The main focus is on keeping our existing configuration stable, resolving user issues as they arise, and applying best-practice fixes or enhancements without disrupting operations.
Because our environment spans multiple functional areas—primarily FICO, HCM, and SD—I value someone who is comfortable jumping between modules and coordinating with our internal team when cross-module issues appear. Most of the system is still on ECC, with a few satellite solutions, so familiarity with classic SAP GUI tools, transaction codes, and standard OSS note implementation will come in handy.
Typical activities will include:
• Monitoring error logs and background jobs, investigating any failures, and closing them out with permanent solutions
• Handling end-user tickets (via JIRA) and documenting resolutions in our knowledge base
• Applying SAP Notes, kernel patches, and minor transports after testing in QA
• Advising on performance tuning, authorisation clean-up, and small configuration tweaks when necessary
I already have access to the systems; you’ll receive a VPN account and authorisations once we sign the NDA. Please outline relevant module experience, the support frameworks you prefer (ITIL, ChaRM, etc.), and your usual response times so I can gauge fit. My goal is a smooth, long-term support partnership rather than a one-off implementation or heavy customisation initiative.
