Job Description: SAP Migration Expert (AWS to Bare Metal)
Project Overview:
We are seeking a senior SAP Infrastructure Specialist to lead the migration of our SAP environment from AWS EC2 instances to a high-performance Bare Metal (Dedicated Server) environment. The ideal candidate must possess deep expertise in both AWS cloud architecture and SAP Basis/HANA administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit & Planning: Analyze current AWS SAP instances (Sizing, Throughput, and IOPS).
Migration Execution: Perform a seamless data and application shift from AWS to Dedicated Servers with minimal downtime.
Configuration: Design and implement the bare metal OS (SLES/RHEL), filesystem layout, and kernel tuning specifically for SAP performance.
Network & Security: Establish secure connectivity and data transfer protocols between environments during the transition.
Validation: Conduct post-migration "Go-Live" testing to ensure SAP application integrity.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience with SAP HANA/NetWeaver migrations.
Expert-level knowledge of AWS (EC2, EBS, VPC, S3).
Deep understanding of Bare Metal hardware optimization for SAP.
Experience with SAP Landscape Management (LaMa) or similar migration tools.
