SAP B1 Landscape Connection Issue Fix

Job ID: 40200214

Budget: $30 – $250 AUD

My on-premises SAP Business One deployment has suddenly started throwing the “failed to connect to system landscape directory” error across several workstations, blocking users from logging in. I need someone who knows the SLD inside-out to pinpoint the root cause, restore connectivity for every client, and then carry out the standard maintenance and update steps that keep the system stable after the fix.

The focus is first on getting all machines talking to the SLD again—checking the license server, verifying the SBO-Common database, ports, services and any recent Windows or SQL Server changes. Once logins are flowing normally, I would like you to apply any pending SAP patches or service packs, tidy up backups, and document the changes so we have a clean baseline.

Deliverables:
• Working SLD connection confirmed on every affected workstation
• Latest approved SAP Business One patches or hotfixes applied
• Short post-engagement report outlining the root cause, actions taken and preventive recommendations

If you’re confident with SAP B1 administration, networking basics and troubleshooting on-prem environments, let’s get this resolved quickly.
