SAP Intelligent Operations Senior Advisor — Strategic SAP Diagnostics (Central America)
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
We are looking for an experienced SAP Senior Advisor to join our SAP Intelligent Operations™ practice at 4Consulting, a consulting firm operating across Central America and Panama.
This is a strategic diagnostic engagement — not an implementation, not a support role. The advisor will evaluate complex SAP ecosystems and translate technical findings into executive decisions for CIO, CFO, COO, CEO and Board-level audiences.
What you will do:
Assess the current state of SAP landscapes: core health, custom code, integrations, extensibility, data governance, licensing exposure and S/4HANA readiness
Evaluate Clean Core compliance, technical debt, Z/Y objects, User Exits, BAdIs and upgrade risks
Review SAP integration patterns with external systems: RFC/BAPI, IDocs, SOAP/REST, PI/PO, SAP Integration Suite/CPI, APIs and event-driven architectures
Identify contractual risk scenarios related to Digital Access, indirect use, bots, RPA, portals and third-party systems
Facilitate workshops with CIO, CFO, COO, SAP teams and functional areas
Produce structured findings, maturity indexes and actionable recommendations
Prepare and deliver executive presentations to senior management and board committees
Required skills and experience:
5+ years in SAP architecture, SAP consulting, ERP transformation programs or S/4HANA readiness
Proven experience in at least two of: S/4HANA readiness/conversion assessment · Clean Core/custom code assessment · SAP integration architecture · SAP BTP/extensibility · multi-country SAP operations · data governance on SAP · RISE with SAP evaluation
Strong knowledge of SAP licensing models: Named Users, Digital Access, FUE, RISE/GROW and indirect use exposure
Familiarity with SAP Readiness Check, ABAP Test Cockpit, Custom Code Migration App and Simplification Item Catalog
Knowledge of SAP BTP, side-by-side extensibility, SAP Build and API Management
Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to executive audiences
Spanish fluency required; functional technical English
Desirable:
SAP certifications in S/4HANA, BTP, Integration Suite, ABAP, Basis or functional modules
Experience with SAP Signavio, Celonis or process mining
Background in banking, manufacturing, telco, pharma or multi-country groups
Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake or hybrid SAP + cloud architectures
Engagement details:
Location: Central America and Panama (remote or on-site depending on engagement)
Type: Freelance / project-based with potential for recurring engagements
Language: Spanish primary; English technical
