SAP BCS UCWB Entry Customization
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I need a small but precise change in SAP BCS. Inside the UCWB journal entry screen I want an additional text field called “doc_title” to sit with the existing comment elements. The field already exists in the Comment tab, yet it is not shown on the main UCWB entry layout where users actually post journals.
The job is to:
• add the “doc_title” text box to the UCWB journal entry screen,
• save the value exactly as the current comment field does, and
• make sure nothing in the standard validation or posting logic is disturbed.
No new formats, limits, or extra rules are required—just expose the same field that is already in the comment area, so end-users can enter it directly while creating a journal.
Please handle the standard transport, test in a sandbox, and provide brief technical notes so my team can repeat the step in other systems.
