SAP B1 Automation & Analytics
Budget: ₹37,500 – ₹75,000 INR
Our organisation runs SAP Business One and now needs a comprehensive round of automation and analytical enhancements to reduce manual effort, close compliance gaps and deliver real-time insights.
Primary objectives
• Banking – establish secure, scheduled synchronisation with our partner banks so that statements import automatically and generate the corresponding journal or voucher entries without manual keying.
• GST – automate the entire cycle: multi-GST expense vouchers, GSTR-1 and 2B data checks (flagging anything “uploaded” vs “not uploaded”), auto-prepare GSTR-3B, and collate figures for annual GSTR-9.
• Finance dashboards – surface daily, weekly, monthly and yearly profit comparisons, slicing by dealer and route at will; do the same for expenses, but also break those down vehicle-wise, accessory-wise and driver-wise.
• Salary & statutory pay-outs – run payroll, PF, ESI and PT calculations automatically, generate monthly slips, consolidate yearly data, produce Form-16 and associated TDS workings.
• TDS – detect short-deductions or other errors as the entries are posted.
• Audit trail – give auditors a single-click compliance view across the above processes.
Business process alignment – Sales & Distribution Configuration
Sales & Distribution is the first functional area that needs tightening. Order flows, pricing rules, dispatch notes, and customer invoicing must link seamlessly with the automated finance pieces listed above. If you can also extend the same discipline to Inventory & Batch Management or Procurement later, that would be an advantage but is not mandatory for this phase.
Acceptance criteria
1. All scheduled jobs run unattended for one month in UAT without error.
2. Each statutory return exports in the government-prescribed format ready for upload.
3. Profit and expense dashboards refresh in under 60 seconds using live data.
4. Salary slips and Form-16 reconcile to the ledger to the nearest rupee.
Tools & environment
We are on SAP Business One (HANA) with standard DI-API access; Crystal Reports is already licensed. Any additional add-ons or SDK work should stay upgrade-safe.
Deliverables are the configured system, technical documentation and a brief hand-over session recorded on Teams.
