SAP ABAP RAP & Private Cloud
Budget: €12 – €18 EUR
ABAP private-cloud developer who can dive straight into advanced ABAP work. The daily focus is two-fold: building new RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) services that follow Clean Core principles, and untangling tricky issues through deep debugging of user-exits, BADIs and enhancement spots.
You’ll work inside Eclipse/ADT against our S/4HANA 2022 stack, exposing your objects via OData and polishing the UX with SAP Fiori Elements. A solid handle on CDS view modelling is expected—most of our RAP artefacts rely on complex analytical views that must perform well under load.
While the core need is RAP and debugging, a working knowledge of SAP Private Cloud deployment considerations (transport approach, whitelisting, upgrade safety) will help you hit the ground running. If you have touched Azure API Management or SAP PO before, that’s a plus, but not mandatory.
Deliverables
• RAP services (behavior definitions, projection views, service bindings) ready for transport
• Clean, unit-tested ABAP code free of SPAU/SAT findings
• Detailed technical documentation in English covering design decisions and troubleshooting steps
• Knowledge-transfer walkthroughs for our in-house team
Acceptance criteria will be a successful code review in Git-enabled CTS and a green run in our automated regression suite. I communicate in English and expect the same clarity in all written artefacts. If this sounds like the kind of challenge you enjoy, let’s talk timelines and availability.
