Proxmox, SUSE Linux & SAP Admin
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
My production landscape lives on Proxmox VE and demands steady, hands-on care for at least twenty hours each week. The immediate need is two-fold in the hypervisor: I regularly create brand-new VMs and clone golden images, then tune resources, networking and storage so every guest comes online smoothly. You will own that lifecycle end-to-end—from template management through performance checks—using the native Proxmox toolset.
Inside those guests runs SUSE Linux Enterprise. What I need here is continuous administration and maintenance: patching, user and service management, health monitoring and quick remediation when something drifts from baseline. Clean, documented shell scripting is welcome to automate the repetitive bits.
On the application tier, the environment hosts SAP S/4HANA systems. The work spans day-to-day server administration, preventative maintenance and occasional involvement in upgrade projects. Kernel parameters, HANA database services, SUM-based upgrades, and post-upgrade validation all fall within scope, so prior SAP Basis experience will be essential.
A solid grasp of networking—VLANs, bridges, firewalls and basic troubleshooting—rounds out the skill set I rely on.
Deliverables each week
• New or cloned VMs provisioned and verified in Proxmox
• SUSE Linux instances patched, tuned and logged
• SAP S/4HANA servers kept healthy, with upgrade or maintenance tasks closed and documented
Clear change logs, quick response to incidents and proactive suggestions for optimisation are the success markers I will use. If you thrive in a mixed Proxmox/SUSE/SAP stack and can commit to a consistent weekly cadence, let’s get started.
