Lead SAP PP/DS Consultant
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I’m kicking off a full-scale SAP implementation focused on the Plan-to-Produce stream for a new automotive assembly and sub-assembly environment. The goal is straightforward: use SAP PP, SAP PP/DS and SAP IS AUTO APO to streamline our manufacturing processes from demand through finished vehicle release.
You’ll own the end-to-end design and build. That means running discovery workshops with MP&L and production teams, drafting the blueprint, configuring PP, PP/DS and APO objects, and guiding our internal IT and shop-floor users through testing, cut-over and go-live. Embedded S/4HANA experience is essential, as is hands-on work with CIF, MRP Live, heuristics, capacity levelling and detailed scheduling boards.
Deliverables
• Approved solution blueprint covering BOM, routing, work-center, resource and PDS design
• Configured PP, PP/DS and APO landscape migrated to S/4HANA quality & production systems
• End-to-end test scripts with defect resolution records
• Cut-over plan and hyper-care playbook
• Knowledge-transfer sessions and concise user job aids
Acceptance criteria: each deliverable is signed off by business process owners, PP/DS planning runs complete inside the agreed cycle time, and first-month schedule adherence exceeds the current baseline.
