ECC to HANA Upgrade Guidance

I’m preparing to move our core landscape from SAP ECC to SAP HANA with the single, overriding aim of boosting performance. The key wins I need to see are noticeably faster transaction processing, richer and quicker data analytics, and dramatically shorter report-run times.
Because we have several custom ABAP developments woven into the current system, the upgrade can’t be a straight technical lift. I need someone who can audit those objects, map out retrofit or redesign options, and steer the entire migration so nothing breaks in production.

• A brief discovery session so you understand our ECC stack, add-ons, and custom namespace.
• A fit-gap and performance-impact assessment covering tables, programs, and enhancements that will move to SAP HANA.
• A step-by-step upgrade roadmap (DMO/SUM approach, SPDD & SPAU strategy, cut-over plan) with clear timing and rollback checkpoints.
• Guidance on sizing and configuration in HANA Studio for optimal throughput.
• Post-migration validation scripts confirming that critical transactions, analytics queries, and key reports now run at the target speeds.
You’ll have hands-on experience with SUM/DMO, ABAP optimisation for HANA, and performance-tuning tools such as ST05, SQLM, and PlanViz. If you can demonstrate past success moving custom-heavy ECC systems to HANA while tightening runtime KPIs, let’s talk.
