Automate SAP Attendance Upload

Job ID: 39924587

Budget: ₹400 – ₹750 INR

Our attendance logs sit in a SQL Server database that keeps employees and their in/out punches in separate tables. Right now I export that data and key it into SAP Time Management, a manual step that slows payroll and occasionally introduces errors.

I want a fully automated interface that, every day, pulls the fresh punches, validates the layout, maps each record to the correct SAP personnel number, and posts the results straight into the appropriate infotype (IT2011 or, where required, IT2002). At the end of each run the program must produce an error log and a concise summary report so we know which records posted and which need attention.

Configurable elements—such as scheduling, field mapping, and infotype selection—should live in a simple table or customising view so HR can adjust without code changes. Connection to the SQL Server can be handled by direct RFC-enabled ABAP, an SSIS job that calls a BAPI, or another proven route like PI/PO or CPI; I’m open, as long as it is stable and fully documented.

Deliverables
• Tested source code and transports (ABAP, middleware scripts, or both)
• Installation and configuration guide
• User guide that explains the daily run, manual re-runs and log interpretation
• Short hand-over session to walk through the solution and confirm data posts correctly in PT66 and payroll simulation.

The project is complete when the interface runs unattended for a full pay cycle with zero manual corrections.
