ABAP on HANA Data Enhancements
Budget: ₹75,000 – ₹150,000 INR
My SAP S/4HANA system needs a round of development-focused improvements, centred on ABAP on HANA. The immediate requirement is to build and refine custom programs that extend our data models, ensuring they run natively in-memory and follow HANA-optimised patterns.
Scope
• Analyse the current data layer and identify tables, CDS views, or AMDP procedures that limit performance.
• Design and code new HANA-optimised data models or enhance existing ones, adhering to clean-core principles.
• Refactor legacy logic into modern, object-oriented ABAP where practical.
• Provide technical specifications and inline documentation so the solution remains maintainable.
• Execute thorough unit and integration tests and share the results for peer review.
• Walk through any issues discovered during testing, debug system dumps if they occur, and fine-tune SQL or Open SQL statements for optimal runtime.
Acceptance criteria
1. All new or modified objects activate without errors in our DEV system.
2. Unit tests cover critical paths with >90 % success rate.
3. ST05 traces confirm improved response time over the baseline figures we will share at project start.
4. A concise technical document explains design decisions, object list, and transport sequence.
You will have access to development boxes, SE80/ADT, and our internal Git repository for code reviews. I am available for daily checkpoints on Slack and weekly walkthroughs in Teams to keep progress transparent and unblock you quickly.
