Configure Samsung Knox to Lock Financed Mobile Phones
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
We are a mobile retail business offering phones through monthly installment plans. To reduce payment defaults, we want to implement a device locking system using Samsung Knox. The goal is to remotely restrict or lock the phone if a customer fails to make payments.
Task Requirements:
1. Samsung Knox Configuration:
- Set up Samsung Knox Manage or Knox Configure for our business.
- Register and enroll devices into the Knox system.
- Ensure Knox is properly integrated with our business account and device inventory.
2. Device Locking Mechanism:
- Implement a solution that allows us to remotely lock devices in case of non-payment.
- Set custom lock screens with payment reminders or contact information.
- Ensure locked devices cannot be factory reset or bypassed by end users.
3. Training & Documentation:
- Provide basic training to our team on how to use Samsung Knox for this purpose.
- Create clear documentation for the setup and future device enrollments.

- Experience with Samsung Knox Manage and Knox Configure.
- Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) systems.
- Knowledge of Android security and factory reset protections (FRP).
- Ability to integrate MDM with business systems (preferred).

- 2–3 test devices enrolled and demonstrated.
- Admin guide and team training session.
