About the Role (Emphasis on Practice Development & IP)
We are seeking a highly experienced and profound Lead Salesforce Engineer/Architect to join and significantly contribute to the strategic growth and maturity of our internal Salesforce Practice. This is a high-impact, architecture-focused role where your primary contribution is to build internal technical assets and define the engineering standards for the entire team.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience gained in environments that demand strict governance, scalability, and security standards (such as high-growth product companies). This background is essential for architecting solutions that elevate our internal capabilities, leading the development of reusable accelerators, and providing critical mentorship across all delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Practice Development & Intellectual Property (IP) Creation
• Architect and develop the core IP of our practice, including accelerators, integration frameworks, and LWC component libraries, ensuring they meet the highest possible standards for scalability and maintainability.
• Contribute to the strategic growth of the practice by building prototypes, developing proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and transforming reusable client work into durable internal assets.
• Lead the technical design and definition of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for key functions like integration, environment management, and advanced state management.
2. Architectural Governance & Mentorship
• Serve as the lead technical expert for architecting solutions on the Salesforce platform, guiding project teams on design decisions related to large data volume (LDV), security models, and long-term upgrade paths.
• Mentor and formally coach mid-to-senior level developers, imparting knowledge on governor limit optimization, advanced Apex design patterns, and LWC performance best practices.
• Lead technical governance by overseeing the Architecture Review Board (ARB) process, performing critical code reviews, and ensuring strict adherence to global engineering standards.
3. Project Contribution (as needed)
• Provide hands-on expertise to unblock the most complex technical challenges on key client projects, acting as an internal consultant or "firefighter" rather than a core delivery resource.
Required Qualifications
• Experience: 10–15 years of overall experience, with a heavy focus on Apex, LWC, and solution design.
• Architectural Discipline: Proven history of architecting complex solutions for enterprise environments. Candidates with experience in ISV or high-governance product development are highly preferred due to their expertise in platform scalability and security.
• Code & Standards Mastery: Platform Developer II certification is mandatory. Deep understanding of technical debt management, security modeling, and effective governance.
• LWC Proficiency: Expert-level experience designing and building reusable LWC components and frameworks.
• Knowledge on Agentforce & Data cloud
