Salesforce Interactive Dashboard Enhancements

Job ID: 40312661

Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD

I need to expand my current Salesforce dashboard with brand-new functional components so my team can explore key metrics in real time instead of staring at static snapshots. The focus is on interactive charts and additional dashboard sections that pull tracking data directly from our existing Salesforce objects—no external databases or third-party APIs are involved.

Here’s what I’m after: dynamic charts that respond to clicks, hovers, and quick filters; drill-downs that jump straight into the underlying report; and a consolidated metrics panel that refreshes automatically as records change. I’ll share the specific objects, fields, and a rough wireframe, along with sandbox access. Your job is to build the Lightning (or native dashboard) components, wire them up with efficient SOQL, and deploy them back to the sandbox ready for testing.

Deliverables:
• Fully functioning interactive chart components packaged for installation
• Updated dashboard pages displaying the new metrics views
• Brief setup documentation plus any Apex/JavaScript you write
• A short walk-through call so I can roll everything into production confidently

Everything must respect Salesforce governor limits, rely on existing sharing rules, and look clean in Lightning Experience. If you have a portfolio of similar chart-heavy Salesforce work, I’d love to see it when you bid so I know you can hit the ground running.

As I’ve stepped further into the role and spent more time in the data, it’s become clear that our current setup is not structured in a way that allows us to effectively track growth, stagnation, conversion performance, and outreach impact. The goal of this project is to move from basic activity tracking to a system that supports operational decision making, accountability, and consistent census growth.

1. Dashboard Structure Requested

We are looking to build three core dashboards supported by a standardized and scalable reporting model:

Executive Dashboard

Purpose: High-level performance visibility for leadership

Timeframes: Monthly, Quarterly, Annual trends

Operational Dashboard

Purpose: Management view of team and account performance

Timeframes: Weekly and Month-to-Date (MTD)

Daily Dashboard

Purpose: Real-time activity and short-term performance monitoring

Timeframes: Daily, Weekly, MTD

The dashboards should dynamically update based on user assignment and account ownership, so team changes do not require manual restructuring.

2. Core Data Fields Required

The reporting model should support the following fields:

Lead Source
Business Account
Account Owner
Referral Date
Admit Date
Level of Care
Referral Status
Admit Status
Activity Type
Activity Date
Activity Owner
Refer Out status/indicator (if applicable)

Note: Reporting should be tied to the Business Account only. Contact association is not required.

3. Core Metrics Required

Admissions Performance

Admits by Lead Source
Admits by Business Account
Admits by Account Owner
Admits by Level of Care
Admits trend over time

Referral Performance

Referrals by Lead Source
Referrals by Business Account
Referrals by Account Owner
Referral trend over time

Growth Metrics

New Business Accounts Created by Account Owner
Active Referring Accounts
Growth or decline in referrals over time
Growth or decline in admits over time

Conversion Metrics

Referral-to-Admit conversion rate by Lead Source
Referral-to-Admit conversion rate by Business Account
Referral-to-Admit conversion rate by Account Owner

Activity Tracking

Activities by User
Activities by Business Account
Last activity date by Business Account
Activity volume over time
Refer-out activity by Business Account

4. Funnel Reporting Requested

We would like two separate funnel visuals using the following stages:

Lead → Opportunity → Admit

Built as:

Funnel by Business Account
Funnel by Outreach Representative / Account Owner

The goal is to clearly identify where conversion is occurring and where breakdowns exist at both the account and rep level.

5. Filters & Dimensions

All dashboard components should be filterable by:

Time (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Annual)
Lead Source
Business Account
Account Owner
Activity Owner
Level of Care

6. Visualization Types

Preferred visualizations include:

Trend lines
Leaderboards (rep and account performance)
Funnel charts
MTD scorecards
Comparative period reporting
Gap indicators (e.g., accounts with no recent activity)

7. Scalability Requirements

The system should:

Dynamically include new users based on account ownership
Adjust automatically when roles or territories change
Avoid hardcoded, rep-specific dashboard logic
Be maintainable and scalable long term

8. Objective

The objective is to move from activity tracking to performance intelligence, allowing us to:

Identify growth vs stagnation early
Focus on high-performing referral relationships
Improve conversion performance
Align outreach activity with outcomes
Drive more predictable census results
