Salesforce Email-to-Case Automation
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m looking to stand up a complete Email-to-Case workflow in Salesforce that works seamlessly with our Office 365 mailbox. Salesforce is not yet configured for case management, so the project starts from a clean slate and ends with a fully functional, tested solution.
What I need:
• Configure Service Cloud (objects, record types, page layouts, queues) so any message sent to our designated O365 address instantly opens a Case.
• Build an email template and auto-response rule that fires as soon as the Case is created, confirming receipt and displaying the Case Number in the subject and body.
• Ensure subsequent replies from the same email thread update the original Case rather than spinning up new ones—thread-ID or similar tracking must be rock-solid.
• Create a flow, process, or lightweight Apex that triggers when a Case moves to “Closed,” automatically emailing the customer a survey link.
• Provide a brief walkthrough or notes so my team can tweak templates or automation later.
You’re free to use Flow Builder, Process Builder, or Apex—whatever delivers a clean, maintainable setup. All work will be done in our sandbox first, then promoted to production once sign-off testing is complete.
