Salesforce Developer for Educational Migration
Budget: $20,000 – $50,000 USD
Amarillo College invites applications for a skilled Salesforce Developer to assist in migrating our Adult Education Department (GED and ESL Programs) to the Salesforce Education Cloud. The goal is to develop a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) by the end of May, utilizing the current grant year's funds effectively.
Project Requirements:
Data Integration:
Implement data import functionality from Ellucian Colleague to Salesforce via API.
Automate student ID generation and demographic data push to Salesforce upon student initiation of the enrollment process.
Experience Cloud Site:
Develop a system for students to receive an email enabling them to log into Salesforce to complete their application once their data is imported.
Document Management:
Enable students to upload necessary documentation such as Photo ID and other required scans during the application process.
Design a workflow where an Enrollment Specialist approves the documents before the student can proceed to the next steps.
Pre-assessment Exam Scheduling:
Develop a scheduling system within Salesforce for pre-assessment exams with a cap of 10 students per slot, available from Monday to Thursday at 9 AM and 2 PM.
Ensure automated confirmation and reminder emails are sent to students upon scheduling.
Additional Requirements:
The system must enforce that students can only proceed with scheduling the pre-assessment exam after their documents are approved by an Enrollment Specialist, adhering to grant governance protocols.
