SFDC SOAP integration to AS400 database

I have a project that needs to integrate a Salesforce.com (SFDC) platform with an AS400 database using SOAP. The purpose of the integration is to provide real-time data updates. A SOAP interface is needed, and the specific database I'll be integrating with is an AS400 database. This setup will ensure that the data from our SFDC platform is synced with the database quickly and reliably. The successful freelancer will be comfortable with integration projects as well as using SOAP and AS400 databases.
