Maintenance of existing Salesforce system

Through Salesforce we have developed an online claims administration system.This allows claimants to upload their claims and documents online. We need part time assistance with maintenance of the platform as well as implementing Salesforce upgrades on an "as and when "basis. We have been offered a service maintenance contract through our Implementation partner ,but we do ot require a full time resource and this is way too expensive.
