Tender Sourcing & Bid Specialist Needed – South Africa (Commission-Based)

We are a South African company operating in the IT and government services sector, looking to grow our revenue through government and public sector tenders.
What We're Looking For
We need an experienced tender specialist who can:
- Identify and monitor relevant tenders on South African platforms (eTenders, SITA, Government Tender Bulletin, municipal portals)
- Evaluate tender suitability based on our capabilities
- Compile and submit complete, compliant bid documents on our behalf
- Track submission deadlines and follow up on outcomes
- Advise on compliance requirements (CSD, BBBEE, tax clearance, etc.)
Sectors of Focus
- Information Technology (software, hardware, networking, support services)
- Government / Public Sector Services
Compensation Model
This is a commission-based role — no retainer or upfront fees.
- 20% of net profit to the specialist
- 80% of net profit retained by us
Payment is made upon successful contract award and receipt of payment from the client.
Requirements
- Proven track record of winning South African government tenders (please share examples)
- Strong knowledge of PFMA, PPPFA, and procurement regulations
- Familiar with CSD, CIDB (if applicable), and BBBEE compliance
- Excellent written English for proposal writing
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
