Sales & Marketing Team Needed for a High-Potential Psychology eBook Bid 2

Job ID: 39338407

Budget: $10,000 – $20,000 USD

I’m looking to collaborate with a sharp, performance-driven freelance sales and marketing team to promote a high-impact eBook centered around the psychology of killers. The book is deeply researched, packed with over 25 real cases and 100+ psychological insights. It’s designed for audiences interested in crime, dark psychology, self-help, and behavioral studies.

This is strictly a commission-only project. There is no upfront payment, and the sales target is 10,000+ copies per month. If you're not confident in delivering results at that scale, this project won’t be a fit. Only applicants who include the code “JSKE72H” in their proposal will be considered. This confirms you’ve read the full job post and aren't just blindly applying.

The eBook is priced between $4.5 and $10, depending on the region. Your goal will be to reach readers genuinely interested in the subject—even the general audience is perfect. I’m not paying for ads or impressions—only results. If you choose to run ad campaigns, that financial risk is yours. I’m only partnering with a team who believe in the product and are willing to back it with their strategy and confidence.

Let me be clear—no marketing strategy has been executed yet. I’ve been passive so far and haven’t run any campaigns/promotions. I'm seeking professionals who can craft their own marketing strategy, align it with the book’s audience, and execute it with confidence. You’ll have the creative freedom to approach it your way, as long as it’s ethical and delivers real sales. The channels mentioned like social media, email, affiliates, blog posts, reaching influencers and niche forums are simply examples—not fixed requirements.

Only teams, not individual freelancers, will be considered. You must be willing to commit for a minimum of 60 days. I will be sending weekly KDP reports to show the progress you’re making. While payments are made through the milestone model, payables are calculated on a percentage of work completed (POC) model.

The commission structure offers 15% per sale, which means approximately $0.7–$1.5 per book sold depending on region. For a team that delivers 10,000 sales a month, this translates to potential earnings of $7,000–$15,000+. All payments will be issued within 90 days after the close of each calendar month based on the percentage of target achieved in that calendar month (I need the time to calculate region wise sales to ensure accuracy in the payments). If you're not comfortable with this payment model, do not apply. To show you’ve read this and aren’t submitting a generic bid, include the code GHAXTY4H at the end of your proposal. Only those who do so will be shortlisted.

If the minimum monthly sales target of 10,000 copies isn’t met, the commission rate will be adjusted accordingly—reduced to 10% for sales below target, and further down to 5% if sales fall below 2,000 copies in a given month. While payments will follow the calendar month cycle, all dues and performance tracking will be calculated from the exact project start date to ensure full transparency and fairness.

Please note that while Freelancer.com doesn’t restrict commission-only projects, it requires payment to go through its Milestone Payment system, which typically means funds are locked in escrow before work begins. However, Since this project has close traits to the post-paid model, and also requires a minimum work commitment of 60 days from your end, we'll stay compliant to the site and work policy by discussing our mutual goals and setting milestone-based payments structured around that time frame, and by entering into a legal agreement. Anyone curious can message me for a detailed explanation on this.

Trust is everything in a model like this. A legally binding agreement will be drafted before work begins, outlining all responsibilities, timelines, and payment terms for both parties. This is non-negotiable to protect both sides and establish a foundation of transparency and accountability.

To apply, detail your experience marketing eBooks or digital products—not just platforms you use, but actual numbers and results. I want to see how you've delivered results before. Lay out the kind of strategy you would develop for this project, based on your expertise. Also explain why you believe you can hit 10,000+ sales per month. I’ll be selecting only those with a serious, well-thought-out plan and the ability to execute it independently.

And again, to filter out generic and spammy bids, you must end your proposal with the following line: “I HAVE READ AND CLEARLY UNDERSTOOD THE PROPOSAL.”

This isn’t just another eBook. It’s a deep dive into one of the most chilling, fascinating aspects of human psychology, with viral potential in the right hands. If you’re strategic, creative, and hungry to make your mark (and good money doing it), this might be the right project for you.

Let’s make something huge happen.
