PROJECT DESCRIPTION
About Us
Jigsaw HR is a boutique HR advisory firm based on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. We help growing businesses (10-50 employees) solve HR, culture, and scaling problems before they become crises.
Our clients are manufacturers, logistics companies, construction firms, and professional services businesses across Australia. We work with owners and CFOs who have cash but need help building sustainable people systems.
The Role
I’m hiring a part-time sales contractor to call prospects in my CRM and book strategy calls with me.
You’re not closing deals. You’re qualifying prospects and opening doors.
Your job: Call/email prospects, qualify them, book meetings with me, log everything in our CRM.
What You’ll Do
Task 1: Re-Activate Warm Prospects (60% of your time)
You’ll call prospects we’ve contacted before but didn’t convert. Use a simple script: “We connected a few months back about your HR scaling chaos. Still dealing with that?” If they’re interested, ask if they want to chat with me (Allaina).
Task 2: Cold Outreach (30% of your time)
Send short intro emails to new prospects. Follow up with a call 3 days later. Qualify and book calls if interested.
Task 3: CRM Management (10% of your time)
Keep prospect contact info current. Log all calls, emails, and outcomes in our CRM (GHL). Send a weekly summary: “Called 40 leads, booked x calls)
and are genuine leads
The Scripts
I’ll provide proven scripts for cold email, warm re-activation calls, and qualifying conversations. You just follow the process and adapt as needed.
Tools You’ll Use
• GHL (Go High Level): Our CRM. I’ll train you on it (1 hour).
• Your own phone
• Email: You’ll use our Jigsaw HR domain.
• Spreadsheet: Simple weekly reporting (Google Sheets).
Who We’re Looking For
You have:
• 1-3 years sales or BDR experience (or you’re willing to learn)
• Comfort making phone calls and qualifying conversations
• Ability to follow a process and log activities consistently
• Reliability and independence (you can work without hand-holding)
• Openness to feedback and coaching
• Location: Australia or willing to work Australian business hours
You don’t need:
• Sales certifications or fancy degrees
• Advanced CRM experience (we’ll train you)
• To be a natural salesperson (this is learnable)
The Trial (Week 1)
Week 1 is unpaid. Here’s why:
You’ll call 10 warm prospects. I’ll listen to feedback and assess fit. It’s 5 hours to test if we work well together.
If it’s working: You move to paid (AUD $1,600-$2,100/month, 10 hrs/week).
The First Paid Month (Weeks 2-4)
• 10 hours/week, flexible schedule
• You call 40-50 prospects
• You book 2-4 calls with me
• Tight feedback loop (I’ll coach you if needed)
• Decision point (end of week 4): Continue or stop?
The 3-Month Trial
• Consistent 10 hours/week
• Generating qualified leads
• Weekly 30-minute check-ins (usually Friday mornings)
• Coaching and feedback from me
• End of Month 3: Review and decide if we continue, scale, or stop
Compensation & Details
• Rate: AUD $1,600-$2,100 per month
• Hours: 10 hours per week (you choose when)
• Schedule: Flexible, but need to call prospects during Australian business hours (9am-5pm AEST)
• Payment: Monthly invoice (you’re a contractor)
• Trial week: half pay (to assess fit)
What Success Looks Like
By the end of the trial week, you’ll have:
• Called 20+warm prospects
• Logged outcomes in GHL
• Had a debrief conversation with me
By the end of the first paid month, you’ll have:
• Called 100 prospects
• Booked 30 meetings
• Logged all activities
• Received feedback and coaching
By the end of Month 3, we’ll review:
• Pipeline: 4-6 qualified meetings per month
• Quality: 80%+ of meetings are genuine leads
• Reliability: Consistent logging and reporting
• Communication: Natural, diagnostic, not pushy
How I’ll Measure Success
• Did you follow the process and use the scripts?
• Are the meetings you book actually qualified?
• Is your communication natural and diagnostic?
• Are you reliable and logging activities accurately?
Red Flags (Why I’d Stop)
• You book meetings but 50%+ are unqualified
• You don’t log activities or log inaccurately
• You ghost or disappear mid-week
• You pitch hard instead of diagnose
But if you’re doing the basics right, we’ll work together to improve.
How to Apply
Message me with:
1. Your background: Any sales or BDR experience? How long?
2. Why you want this: Why is this role interesting to you?
3. One reference: Someone who can vouch for your reliability (name, email)
4. Timezone: Where are you located? Can you work during Australian business hours?
I’ll reply within 24 hours with next steps.
Next Steps (If Selected)
1. Chat on Freelancer: Quick conversation to get to know you
2. 1-hour training: I’ll show you GHL, scripts, and the process
3. Trial week: Call 10 prospects, we debrief
4. Decision: Continue or part ways
FAQ
Q: I’ve never done sales before. Can I still apply?
A: Yes, if you’re willing to learn. I care about your ability to listen and follow a process, not your resume.
Q: Do I need CRM experience?
A: No. I’ll train you on GHL in 1 hour.
Q: Can I work evenings or weekends?
A: You can log activities anytime, but you need to call prospects during Australian business hours (9am-5pm AEST).
Q: What if I mess up a call?
A: You will. That’s normal. I’ll listen, give feedback, you improve. It’s a learnable skill.
Q: How do I track my 10 hours?
A: Log activities in GHL (timestamped) plus send me a weekly summary. I trust you.
Q: Can this turn into more hours after the trial?
A: Maybe. If this works well, we could scale to 15-20 hours per week. But let’s start with 10.
Q: What if your prospect list runs out?
A: I’ll add more. Your job is to call, not build the list.
Q: How do I know if someone is a “qualified” lead?
A: I’ll train you on this. Basically: They said yes to the pain, they’re the right decision-maker, and they have budget. I’ll coach you.
